I hate that I’ve been neglecting blogging. I find that it’s hard enough to keep one blog up, especially two.
Anyway, I have really enjoyed working on the video posts for this new blog, you can find it here.
Basically, I’ve been watching a lot of older horror/exploitation/genre films that I’ve been finding on amazon. They’re very interesting and I wanted to help...

A typical Thursday night is not complete without a trip over to Stonewall for electric beatdown. Before going to beatdown a couple of years ago I never knew or heard of a genre of music called “dubstep”. Not saying that the music in this video qualifies as such, but it’s pretty much all I think about when I go back there.
The times we had a these places were so fantastic, but...
So last week was the big graduation blow out, and I went up Thursday night and staying until Saturday afternoon. It was a great time and I documented little pieces of the weekend to continue this “video diary project” I’ve been working on.
I won’t be able to upload them all tonight, but I should be able to get a couple good ones.
Started the festivities with a final trip...
Just Ashley and I checking in
This little gem is from Encounter With The Unknown
drunk man’s curve
Colourmusic in some alley at the end of norman music festival, dropped my phone while filming.
Who thought this was a good idea (in norman, ok on the way to norman music festival)
Sake bomb race between Brad and Andy. Who will win? Of course, it wasn’t planned as a race but definitely turned into one.
Andy’s karaoke performances are pretty legendary in our group. Both awesome and funny at the same time, everyone has their favorite Andy karaoke story: was it when he screamed “this song is about motha fuckin SUICIDE! the number one cause of death in Canada” during Third Eye Blind’s Jumper? Maybe the powerhouse performance of House of the Rising Sun?
Well tumblr, I’d...

The commentators are outrageously biased toward the Thunder. You may have to turn it up a bit to hear the commentator say: “nice! nice! nice! NICE!!!” followed by our genuine laugh track
This guy. It may be a little hard to tell what’s going on, but we’re at this burger place and he’s trying to order food. Basically, he’s not making any sense at all.
I remember starting to film this at 2:15 am, thinking this is going to be hilarious. As you can see it’s really not. Actually, it kind of sucks. It’s one of the most awkward conversations...

Best Kiss cover band ever? I couldn’t be sure, but they were pretty awesome. There was a 10 minute drum solo, a guitar solo with smoke coming out of the guitar, the bassist yelled at the crowd with fake blood pouring from his mouth, and the instruments were wireless so they played all over the bar.
WARNING: the video is super loud, so make sure to turn down your speakers first.

Record Store Day 2011, Guestroom Records OKC.
The line might have been long, but at least they had a keg filled with Coop they were giving out for free.
I should have known what I was getting myself into when I saw this on the outside of the bar.

I’ll spare you the typical club video, but we ended at this little bar called JJ’s. The tv is a live stream of the guitarist on the second floor. Kind of cool, but when did this song become such a bar anthem??
This is my friend from work, goes by Jook Mode. Pretty good showman, and has the skill to back it up. Definitely glad I made it out.
After many drinks at Chelino’s we hit up this local rap show, which was something I’ve never done before. Honestly, it was pretty cool. Who knows which rappers will make it, but for that short set these people are living their dreams.
Little did I know that my friend Carly Jade would have staked us out a perfect table right off the riverwalk downtown. Perfect Saturday? So far so good.
Last week’s weather pretty much consisted of cold, sunless days. So when I woke up Saturday to great weather I had to try and capture that moment. Basically, that feeling you have to starting the weekend and enjoying the weather simultaneously is just amazing.
Started last weekend with good times at Kelly’s place.

I can always count on hearing some about new music when I’m hanging with the guys
“It was like the revolution was coming”
Sushi House bathroom in stillwater
One of my favorite parts of the drive to Stillwater is driving by the awesome theme park, Frontier City. By awesome, I mean mediocre compared to most theme parks. BUT the place is still damn fun
Weekend update video style.
Friday night was spent making some spring rolls with some awesome people in Norman.
There’s this spot by my parent’s house where airplanes come in to land. It’s really cool to see and I finally captured one on video.
Watching the muted tv while listening to music is something I like to do a lot. I love having Jordan around for times like this so he can add the commentary.
A trip to Cactus Jack’s, with some folklore as told by Bigbear.
So I haven’t been updating too much lately, so the next couple of posts are videos from last weekend.
Thursday night (st. patty’s day)
I guess I’m going through this “film everything I think is cool and then upload it” phase.
Watch as Artest dickfaces (I have Brad or Tyler to thank for that crazy term) this guy during the game.
Watch as bigbear gets down on the dance floor. Then realizes I’m filming and gives me the finger. Another great weekend, these people are so much fun.
I had a party at my new place. Bigbear, calls the guys outside for a touching toast. Watch as Brad hilariously interrupts him while Jordan, Reid, Tyler, Andy, Alex and I crack up.
